Tc Electronic Spark Mini Booster Guitar Pedal Review for Bass

1. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this pedal? I'd use it to drive the front of my tube amp harder and it would probably replace at least one of my pedals (Dominate ODB-3... I don't like this) They're ane of the cheaper virtually uncomplicated boost pedals I've seen and information technology'southward tiny!

   I oasis't tried that one simply I love the Palmetto Boost from Blackeye Effects (http://www.blackeyeeffects.bigcartel.com/production/the-palmetto). Another tiny pedal at the same price point, and it sounds great on bass. I detect that raising the gain adds a little fleck of extra treble brightness without losing bass if you want it, but you can also keep the gain low for a very transparent boost with plenty of volume still on tap.

13. I know I posted this thread quite some time ago, but I decided to catch the TC Spark Mini yesterday. Unplugged my Boss ODB-three and threw the Spark Mini at the end of the betoken concatenation. Turned the pedal to 12 O'Clock and the sounds that came out of my amp!!!! The sound is so full and rich, and I can prepare it to just saturate my preamp, or hit full on grit.

    The pedal looks so cool too! I want to replace all of my boss pedals with fancy ones now

    edit: This pedal also adds a chip of brightness past 12 O'Clock, only it isn't out of place and the bass isn't really afflicted

I but got the Mini Spark today.....I've had the Spark Booster for a few months now and actually like information technology, the versatility with the EQ and Gain knob and the Fat/Mid/Clean switch just gives you whatever boost you want with added baloney only I've been on a crazy pedal buying/trying spree redoing both my boards......so I got the Mini....I quite like it, no real low end loss and an added brightness to my tone and the pedal is so modest but I really like the versatility of the big brother....can't brand up my mind....and to brand matters worse I but got the Xotic EP booster (much cleaner and no depression end loss with the bright switch off) but information technology'southward different and prissy also and of grade, now I've ordered the Mooer Pure Boost pedal, just considering my mind is non mush already trying to effigy out which I want to go on....

22. I had the bigger Spark briefly, and while it has overnice functions I returned it considering information technology was surprisingly noisy/hissy. I don't know how the mini sounds, maybe it's a unlike excursion pattern.

30. I've got one, had one for a while. Love it! Information technology'due south a great volume boost (with a bit of saturation if I want it), especially in my ring where the rhythm mostly plays the same lines as me! At the infinitesimal I don't have also many pedals, just tried this out with a friend's boss overdrive for guitar. The matter lit upwards! Wouldn't utilize something like that unless the mini spark was constantly on.

34. I can't make up one's mind which to keep....the booster or the mini or the EP for that affair....I could use the mini (at the front) and the EP (at the cease) of one board and use the Spark Booster on my other board I suppose, but that's kinda crazy....lol

    Decided to keep the EP Booster....both the Mini Spark and the Mooer Pure Boost have been returned to the store...still keeping the Spark Booster for a bit simply I recall information technology'southward going too

38. Hey guys! Reviving this thread because I've been looking for a bass demo on this pedal for a long fourth dimension.

    Couldn't discover 1, so I bought a Spark Mini and made a demo for it. I dearest how transparent it is and how many different ways it tin can exist useful. Thank you!
